Monica Solberg-Leinebø

Monica Solberg-Leinebø lives in Stavanger, has a strong commitment, and since 1995 has mainly worked with family, inheritance and probate law, labour law and assistant lawyer assignments for private individuals. Monica also assists some companies with ongoing contract law issues and labour law. In addition, she undertakes settlement assignments.

Monica received her Master of Laws degree in 1995 and has since then worked in private legal practice. First as an associate in Egersund for two years and then with her own law practice in Stavanger from 1998, interrupted only by a short employment relationship.

She has a good command of English, both spoken and written, and a good knowledge of German. Monica assists private individuals and companies at home and abroad and enjoys working on cases with cross-border ramifications. Among other things, she has good expertise in child abduction and her membership of the Commercial Law group, a network of lawyers in Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia, benefits both herself and her clients.

From 2023, she is also a permanently appointed legal aid lawyer for Sør-Rogaland District Court and Gulating Court of Appeal. Although Monica has a lot of assignments in family law, labour law and assistance assignments, she is always available to consider other types of cases.

Monica has extensive litigation experience from the District Court and Court of Appeal and has also litigated before the Supreme Court of Norway.

Monica occasionally engages students for internships and has her own office employee, Kateryna Liakhova.
